Composite Fillings

A composite filling is a dental restoration used to repair a decayed or damaged tooth. It is made from a mixture of tooth-colored resin and small glass or ceramic particles. This type of filling is needed to restore the tooth's structure, strength, and function while maintaining a natural appearance. Composite fillings are particularly useful for small to medium-sized cavities, as they can be bonded directly to the tooth and require less removal of healthy tooth structure compared to traditional amalgam (metal) fillings.

Crowns

A dental crown is a prosthetic cap that covers a damaged or weakened tooth, fully encasing it above the gumline. Crowns are typically made from materials like porcelain, ceramic, or metal alloys. They are needed when a tooth has extensive decay, a large fracture, or has undergone a root canal, as these situations weaken the tooth's structure. Crowns provide protection, restore functionality, and improve the tooth's appearance, ensuring longevity and preventing further damage to the natural tooth.
